Sculpt Privacy Policy
Last updated: 17 October 2026
Sculpt is a progress photo and body measurement tracker published by Clearpoint Studios. This policy explains what the app stores, what leaves your phone, and how long anything is kept.

The short version
Your photos, weight entries and body measurements stay on your phone. Sculpt has no account, no cloud sync and no server that receives them. Two things leave the device: an anonymous purchase identifier that our payment provider needs to know whether you have Pro, and feedback you choose to send us.
There are no ads, no advertising identifiers, no ad networks, no analytics SDK and no crash reporting SDK in the app. We do not sell data and we do not share it with data brokers.
What stays on your device
Stored in the app's private storage, readable only by Sculpt:
- Progress photos and their thumbnails. Location and camera data (EXIF) are removed when a photo is saved. Photos are not written to your gallery or to any cloud folder.
- Poses, photo notes, weight entries, body measurements and your goal
- Settings, units and the weekly reminder time
- The app lock PIN, stored as a salted hash in the Android secure storage
You can delete single photos, poses and entries inside the app. Uninstalling Sculpt, or clearing its storage in the Android settings, removes all of it. Sculpt opts out of Android's automatic cloud backup, so this data is not copied to your Google account by the system either.
Sharing and backups you start yourself
When you tap Share on a comparison, or export a backup ZIP, Sculpt hands the image or file to the Android share sheet and you choose where it goes. From that point the receiving app or service handles it under its own policy. Nothing is shared without that tap, and we never receive a copy.
Purchases
Sculpt Pro is sold through Google Play. To check whether you have Pro, the app uses RevenueCat. When the app starts, the RevenueCat SDK sends an anonymous app user identifier, created at random for this installation, together with your Google Play purchase records for Sculpt. RevenueCat does not receive your photos, measurements, name or email address, and we have not enabled its collection of device or advertising identifiers. Payment details are handled by Google and are never visible to us or to RevenueCat. RevenueCat's policy is at revenuecat.com/privacy.
Feedback you send us
Under Profile, Feedback you can send us a short message. We receive the text you wrote, the app version, your operating system and its version, and your language setting. It is sent only when you press Send; the app does not contact the feedback service before that. The message is not linked to a name, an email address or the purchase identifier.
Other network requests
Once a day at most, the More apps section checks whether other Clearpoint Studios apps are live on Google Play by requesting their public store pages. These requests contain no information about you or your use of Sculpt.
Permissions
- Camera: taking progress photos inside the app.
- Biometrics: unlocking the optional app lock.
- Notifications and boot completed: the optional weekly photo reminder, restored after a restart.
- Internet: the purchase check, feedback and the More apps check described above.
Legal basis and where data is processed
Where the GDPR applies, purchase state is processed to fulfil the contract, and feedback is processed on the basis of your consent, given by sending it. RevenueCat and our feedback service run on infrastructure in the European Union and the United States. Where data reaches the United States, the transfer is covered by the standard contractual clauses of the respective providers.
Data retention
How long each kind of data is kept, and what ends the retention:
- Photos, measurements, weight entries, notes and settings on your phone: kept until you delete them in the app, clear the app's storage or uninstall Sculpt. They are never copied to a server of ours.
- Backup files and shared images: kept wherever you saved or sent them, until you delete them there. We hold no copy.
- Feedback messages: kept for up to 12 months after we receive them, then deleted. On request they are deleted earlier, within 30 days of your email.
- Purchase state: RevenueCat keeps the anonymous app user identifier and purchase records for as long as the subscription or lifetime purchase exists, according to its own policy. Google Play keeps the transaction under your Google account.
- Server backups: backups of the feedback service exist for disaster recovery only and are overwritten within 30 days, so deleted data disappears from them within that window.
Deletion happens on the server itself, not by hiding records. How to request deletion is described at sculpt-5gv.pages.dev/delete.
Your rights
You can export all photos and entries as a backup ZIP and delete your data on the device at any time. Under the GDPR you can also ask us for access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of data we hold, and you can object to processing. Write to clearpointstudios@proton.me and we will answer. You can complain to your local data protection authority.
Health information
Sculpt records numbers you enter and photos you take. It does not diagnose, treat or give medical advice, and its trends are arithmetic on your own entries.
Children
Sculpt is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them. If you believe a child has sent us feedback, write to us and we will delete it.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it, and material changes will be pointed out in the app.
